AI IS SWITCHED OFF
This page is all AI, so it’s keeping quiet.
You’ve switched the AI off, and this page is about nothing else. Every module in Grimoire works without it.
See the features →OPT-IN, AND PROUD OF IT
Prep night, with a very fast apprentice.
Portraits, maps, music, NPC lines and whole quests, drafted in the time it takes to refill your tea. Everything on this page comes from Sugarwell, our demo campaign. It’s opt-in: a new campaign asks first, and nothing generates until you say yes.
CHARACTER ART
A cast that looks like one world.
Every portrait comes out in Grimoire’s own painted house style, from the notes you already wrote about the character. Five strangers from five stock-art sites become one cast.
AI-generatedFlossKeeps the Pulled Sugar Inn. Calls everyone “dear”.
AI-generatedTreacle, the GafferEldest spinner of the Understage. Never raises his voice.
AI-generatedMaster NougatineConstruct-master, twelve years gone. Her workshop is still locked.
AI-generatedCrumbAn unclaimed child who has quietly chosen the party.
AI-generatedRosie VermeilThe party’s fighter. Trained as a dancer first.
PLACES AND MAPS
Paint the layout. Then give it a look.
Draw a dungeon in Cartographer, restyle it in one step, then run the encounter straight on top of it. Locations get their own art for the moment the party walks up to the door.
AI-generated
AI-generatedAND THE REST OF ITS SKILLS
Everything else the apprentice can draft.
Music for the scene
Describe the moment and Grimoire writes a full brief for Google’s Lyria model, then drops the finished track onto your Soundboard. Every track carries an inaudible watermark saying what made it.
Lines when you’re caught out
A player asks an NPC the one thing you didn’t prep. Ask the Voice Coach and get two or three lines you can say out loud, in that character’s voice. Nothing is saved.
Quests that know your world
Plot hooks and whole quest outlines built from the NPCs, places and factions already in your campaign, so the thread ties into the ones you have.
The recap nobody wrote
The Chronicler drafts a session recap from what the campaign already knows: the fights that ran, the quests that moved, your earlier notes. It can paint the scene too.
Fights with a twist
Draft an encounter to fit the party, then, mid-fight, ask for a complication or a wave of reinforcements when the battle needs a turn more than hit points.
Anything with a stat block
NPCs, monsters, items, spells, locations and factions, drafted as a starting point you edit, not a form you fill in from nothing.
Traps, puzzles and tables
Traps with DCs and hints, puzzles to hand the players, loot and roll tables whose results are real items. Twenty entries to edit beats twenty blank rows.
Downtime that happens
When players draw a downtime activity, Grimoire drafts what came of it: the contact, the rumour, the small disaster.
Your old notes, imported
Upload a PDF or photos of your pages and it pulls out the NPCs, places and items, ready to check and keep.
Your hero, in plastic
Simulacrum turns a character’s portrait into a 3D-printable miniature. It’s opening in stages, so it isn’t in every account yet.
HOW IT BEHAVES
Powerful, and polite about it.
- Opt-in, per campaign. A new campaign asks once. Say no and every generator is off on our servers as well as on screen.
- Drafts, not decisions. Everything arrives as a draft you accept, edit or throw away. Your campaign stays yours.
- Always labelled. AI output carries a badge for anyone who didn’t make it, and images and music carry invisible markers too.
- Part of Pro. Pro includes 1,500 AI credits a month. The Free plan has none, and nothing else in Grimoire needs them.
