For young players
This page is for you if you are under 16 and play in a Grimoire campaign. It says the same things as our Terms and Privacy Policy, in plainer words. It’s a good idea to read it together with the grown-up who set up your account.

What is Grimoire?
Grimoire is where your group keeps its game: your character sheet, your notes, the quests you’re on and what happened last session. The Dungeon Master runs the game, and you play your character.
Who set up your account?
Your parent or guardian did. They picked your login name and password, and they said yes to Grimoire keeping your game safe for you. If you forget your password, ask them. They can make you a new one.
What we keep about you
- your name in the game and your login name
- your characters, notes and journal
- the month your account becomes yours (more about that below)
We don’t have your email address, so we will never email you. We don’t know your birthday, only the month your account becomes your own.
Who can see your stuff?
- Your Dungeon Master can see your character and the things you share in the campaign. They decide what the rest of the group sees.
- Your group sees what the Dungeon Master shares with them.
- Your parent can download everything in your account, and can delete it.
- Nobody else. Your campaign isn’t public, and your account can’t make public links.
Things your account can’t do
- No AI. Your account can’t use the AI features. If your Dungeon Master uses AI to help run the game, they might include your character in it, because your character is part of the story.
- No shopping. You can’t buy anything in Grimoire.
Play it safe
- Keep your password to yourself. Your Dungeon Master will never ask for it, and neither will we.
- Don’t put real-life details in your character or notes: no home address, school, phone number or photos of real people.
- Be kind to the people at your table, and in anything you write.
If something feels wrong
If something in Grimoire upsets you or seems wrong, tell your parent or another grown-up you trust. You or they can also write to us at reports@dungeongrimoire.com, and we will look at it.
When you turn 16
From the first day of the month after your 16th birthday, your account is yours. Your parent can’t manage it anymore, and we’ll ask you to read and agree to the grown-up Terms yourself.
