To hold the result, something has to print it, but that doesn't have to be you. Resin printers have become common enough that most gaming groups know someone, and online print services will do a single mini for less than a boxed one costs.

It's forged from the portrait, so it's as close as that portrait is. This is dramatically closer than the usual alternative, which is browsing a store for a model that's roughly the right species holding roughly the right weapon.

Anything with a portrait. The obvious use is the party, but a villain who shows up three times across a campaign is a very good candidate for having a physical presence on the table.

There's a button in the app to register your interest, and the people who pressed it go first. It isn't a lever that opens the gate on the spot (we'd rather say so than imply otherwise), but it is how we decide how quickly to open it.

Because it's built, it works, and hiding it until the queue clears would just mean you found out about it a year late. We'd rather show you the good thing and be honest about the wait.

The portrait it works from can be generated or uploaded, so if you've switched AI off and brought your own commissioned art, the forge still has something to work with.

That part is gloriously still your problem. Some of us consider this the best part of the hobby and some of us have a shelf of grey plastic; the tool has no opinion either way.
